MHA
About the Role - An ‘Activity’ may be any part of daily life, done with intention, and appropriate to the resident concerned. You may be supporting an individual or you may be running a group quiz, helping on trips, or leading a sing-a-long! You may come to the role with a definite skill you would like to share – flower arranging, crafts, woodwork, music - or you may come to offer general support to whatever is running, and whoever is in need.
Benefits - By becoming an activities volunteer, you can help older people to have fun and stay active. You can also enrich your own life with new experiences and friendships. You will also gain valuable skills and knowledge that can enhance your personal and professional development.
