Marie Curie - Blackpool Wyre & Fylde
We are looking for an organised and friendly individual to help coordinate a network of collection tins and daffodil boxes in the local community. This is a flexible role where you can complete your rounds at a time and day that is suitable for you. The time needed to complete the role will depend on the number of tins you have in your community and how often they get full but would usually be around 2-3 hours a month.
What you'll be doing
• Distribute collection tins in local venues such as pubs and shops
• Daffodil pin boxes at collection sites for the Great Daffodil Appeal that runs between February-April
• Establish and build relations with venues by ensuring that tins are well position and visible
• Visit venues to regularly service the collection tins
• Collect, count and bank donations
• Thank sites and supporters for amounts raised
Full training will be provided, and you will be given the tools to help you in your role, for example collection tins and an ID card.
