Community Volunteer

National Childbirth Trust

Are you passionate about supporting parents and building strong, welcoming communities? As a Community Volunteer for NCT, you'll be at the heart of our local efforts, helping to create vital spaces where parents can connect, share experiences, and access trusted information and support. You'll understand the unique needs of parents in your area and play a crucial role in improving their wellbeing.

This is a flexible role that can fit around your availability. You'll have the opportunity to support local parents by leading one of our easy-to-set-up regular events, such as a Bumps & Babies group or a Walk and Talk, or by helping to organise one of our popular NCT Nearly New Sales.

What you'll be doing:

Planning and leading one of our local activities or services to support parents.

Advertising your group or event via social media and other platforms.

Attracting and welcoming helpers for your activity.

Following NCT guidance to ensure all events are welcoming, inclusive, and safe.

Collecting and sharing information about the positive difference you make to parents.

Promoting NCT's values and vision in your local community.
