Key Responsibilities

Database & Administration

• Input client case sheets accurately into the Disability First CIO database.

• Maintain up-to-date, secure, and accurate electronic client records.

• Ensure all sensitive data complies with organizational confidentiality policies.

Client Support & Communication

• Answer incoming telephone calls from clients gently and professionally.

• Listen to client needs carefully to offer appropriate reassurance.

• Signpost clients to relevant and complementary support organisations.

Information & Resources

• Collate information materials for client distribution.

• Assemble booklets specifically focused on mesothelioma information


What skills do I need?

Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements

• Good basic computer and software skills.

• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.

• Clear, polite, and empathetic telephone manner.

• Strong respect for handling sensitive client confidentiality.

• Reliable and organized approach to tasks.

Desirable Requirements

• Prior experience using administrative databases.

• Basic understanding of local support sector signposting.

Details

The volunteering post would be flexible to suit the applicant so the suggested days are just guidelines. A minimum of 2 hours per day and a maximum of 3 hours per day is required
