Deputy coordinator

A Deputy Coordinator in a Neighbourhood Watch supports the main Scheme Coordinator with daily tasks, community communication, and cover during absences

Core Duties support the Lead:

Help the Scheme Coordinator manage day-to-day group operations and administration.

Provide Cover: Take charge of the scheme when the main coordinator is on holiday or unwell.

Engage Neighbors: Share crime prevention advice, police updates, and safety alerts with local residents.

Build Community:Help recruit new households and look out for vulnerable or isolated members.

What skills do I need?

Good communication skills Basic IT skills Willingness to learn and understand the role support the co ordinator support the community and engage in regular activities if needed All other skills can be added on as training should needed and if suitable for the role 

When do I need to be available?

Volunteers needed on a had hoc basis as when events are available and if the co ordinator has organised any the role is not full time and you choose what you want to commit and get involved with their is no set working hours
