Driver

This opportunity involves helping to support carers in Blackpool. Drivers can enable carers to get out to participate, for example, in support groups, meetings, courses or a leisure interest. Drivers could also be involved in transporting volunteers and service users to their placment or to outside activities. Drivers are not required to give a specified time commitment - help required can vary dependent on service user demand. Flexible availability would be particularly beneficial. You will be invited to attend monthly meetings or to meet on a one-to-one basis with Volunteer Services Officer. Volunteer drivers must be over 25 years old and have access to a car and a clean current driving licence. Driving could involve travel anywhere in Blackpool.
