Blackpool Council Volunteers Team
This opportunity involves helping to support our other volunteers to get to their roles.
Drivers would collect the volunteer from their home address and take them to place their role is undertaken.
Drivers are not required to give a specified time commitment, however this can be very beneficial to the service.
You will be invited to attend quarterly meetings with other drivers, and to meet bi-monthly, on a one-to-one basis with a Volunteer Officer.
Volunteer drivers must be over 25 years old and have access to a car, a clean, current driving license and have either business insurance or a document to state you can drive for volunteering purposes.
Driving could involve travel anywhere in Blackpool.
Expenses will only be paid within the Blackpool Boundary and you will not be asked to go out of this area. Expenses are paid in line with the current Government Guidelines.

Talking and listening to others. Being friendly and approachable.
Having knowledge of the local area is beneficial, but not essential.
