Lytham Windmill and Lifeboat Museum

Lytham's fabulous Windmill and Lifeboat Museum is keen to recruit new volunteers to assist in its seasonal operation. We have a wonderful volunteer team and are looking for stewards to help at the Windmill or the Old Lifeboat House.

It's great fun, and if you love talking to members of the public about local history and meeting other volunteers, do let us know.


What skills do I need?

Enthusiastic and hoping to inspire visitors of all ages. Someone who likes being around people – you’ll meet a lot each day!

Interested in the Windmill and Old Lifeboat House – you don’t need to know the history of the universe, but as a room guide, you’ll pick up lots of facts and figures.
