Sitter

Sitting Service volunteers spend time with older people or adults with a physical or learning disability or chronic illness who would be at risk if left on their own.

Volunteer 'Sitters' may offer friendship, the opportunity to participate in activities such as listening to music or playing cards.

Where appropriate volunteers are also able to take out the person they sit with.

This opportunity is available to Blackpool residents only.
