Purpose:

Our memorial garden serves as a place of solace and remembrance for visitors, providing a peaceful sanctuary to reflect and pay tribute to those who have passed. Your volunteer efforts will ensure that the garden remains a comforting and inviting space for all who visit.

Tasks:

Gardening: Assist in general garden maintenance tasks such as watering, weeding, mulching, and planting seasonal flowers.

Pruning: Carefully prune shrubs and trees to maintain their health and appearance, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the garden.

Cleaning: Help keep pathways clear of debris and maintain cleanliness throughout the garden area.

Special Projects: Participate in occasional special projects such as installing new features, renovating existing areas, or organising memorial events.

What skills do I need?

No prior gardening experience necessary; all skill levels are welcome.

Must be physically able to perform light gardening tasks and comfortable working outdoors.

Bring comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, and gardening gloves. Some tools and gloves will be provided on-site.
