Join us every week for an enriching experience in our vibrant rose garden! As a volunteer pruner, you'll have the opportunity to nurture the beauty of our garden while learning valuable skills and connecting with nature enthusiasts. Here's what you can expect:
Our weekly pruning sessions aim to maintain the health, vitality, and aesthetic appeal of our rose garden. By volunteering, you directly contribute to the preservation and enhancement of this cherished community space.
Tasks:
Pruning: Learn proper pruning techniques under the guidance of experienced gardeners. Trim and shape rose bushes to encourage healthy growth and abundant blooms.
Weeding: Help keep the garden beds clear of weeds to ensure optimal growing conditions for the roses.
Clean-up: Assist in tidying up the garden area by collecting and disposing of trimmings and debris.
No prior experience necessary; beginners are welcome!
Must be physically able to perform light gardening tasks such as bending, kneeling, and lifting.
Bring your own gardening gloves and pruning shears if available. Some tools and gloves will be provided on-site.
