Blackpool Carers Centre
Food and eating together is an important part of the Young Adult Carers (those unpaid carers who we support from the ages of 16 -24) experience when they attend sessions at the centre. With more funding to provide hot meals we are seeking a volunteer who can help prepare healthy meals for around 15 young adults in each session. We have a fully equipped kitchen at the centre. This role would ideally suit someone with previous experience in catering looking to make a difference for families and unpaid carers in Blackpool or someone with the qualifications and skills who would like to build experience for career development.
