Tree Planting Volunteer (Tree Warden Programme)
As a Tree Planting Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Blackpool’s fight against climate change. By helping to plant and care for trees across local parks and green spaces, you’ll contribute to a natural carbon offset solution while enhancing habitats for wildlife and creating greener, healthier places for the community to enjoy.
This is a seasonal role, with planting projects taking place throughout autumn and winter. No prior experience is needed—full training and all equipment will be provided.

Tree planting sessions take place throughout the autumn and winter months, typically on selected weekdays and occasional weekends. Sessions are usually a few hours long. We welcome volunteers who can join us regularly, as well as those who can attend on a more flexible or occasional basis. You can sign up for sessions that suit your availability. Exact dates, times, and locations will be shared in advance.
