Layton Community House

Layton Community House would welcome enquiries from individuals interested in volunteering. Possible activities may include talking to House users, making drinks, cleaning and tidying and helping staff by answering the phone and welcoming visitors to the House.  

What skills do I need?

We are interested in all skills. Volunteers can make a practical difference by talking to House users or by completing simple tasks such as washing-up, making drinks and cleaning. We welcome those with more advanced skills and those who are looking to enhance their skills with a view to a career.

When do I need to be available?

Morning Afternoon Evening

The House is open from 0930 to 1615, Monday to Friday. Volunteers would be particularly welcome on Wednesdays and Friday mornings.
