Volunteer Care Home Administrative Support

MHA Blackpool & Lytham

We are seeking volunteers to help provide admin support to our homes by assisting with administrative tasks  and customer service. Some of the tasks you may be doing include; Answering telephone calls, taking messages,  responding to queries, filing, photocopying, dealing with post and parcels and other clerical duties. You may also help at reception and be the first contact for visitors.

What skills do I need?

The skills and qualities needed for this role are;  

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Be able to use your initiative
  • Well organised and able to multi task
  • Flexibility
  • An understanding of the needs of older people and comfortable in a care home environment
  • Reliable and punctual

When do I need to be available?

Morning Afternoon Evening

Opportunities are available for full day sessions (10am-4pm) or half day sessions ( 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm)
