Volunteer Walking Assistant

N-Vision

To work and accompany clients who are severely sight impaired in the community. Escort on walks/excursions on a regular basis. Ensure that clients feel empowered to make their own decisions.

What skills do I need?

Experience with visually impaired people is an advantage but training will be given. We offer Visual Awareness course and Advice Session which is mandatory before you are allowed to accompany a client.

You must be reliable. Have a responsible attitude and be enthusiastic.
